CRUISEONE TAKES TO THE HIGH SEAS ABOARD DISNEY DREAM 

Jon Wolske, Zappos! Culture Evangelist Delivers Motivational Keynote Address,

Encouraging Attendees to Focus on Creating Great Client Experiences  

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. – October 19, 2012 Themed “Making Memories,” the 2012 CruiseOne®  National Conference – a continuing education extravaganza for agents who are part of the leading vacation retail network – began with several days of panels, workshops and networking opportunities at Walt Disney World’s Coronado Springs Resort.  Last evening, the majority of the group set sail aboard Disney Dream and this morning marked the first day of the cruise portion of the event, with an exciting keynote presentation by Jon Wolske, Culture Evangelist, Zappos!

During his two-part session, Wolske shared insights into the unique Zappos! culture.  Agents then participated in an interactive activity called ‘Delivering Wow Tools.’  Through a series of questions, the audience was challenged to look at ideas for enhancing their service experience, focusing on impressing customers at every possible touch point.

Following Wolske’s keynote, attendees disembarked for a day of activities in Nassau, The Bahamas.  This included pre-arranged site inspections and events at area resorts, including The Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort & Casino.  More than 60 top franchise owners and agents visited this family-friendly property, set on seven miles of Cable Beach, for a private lunch with resort executives.  The day included a tour of the Sheraton Nassau, including a sneak peek at Baha Mar, a $3.4 billion complex and the largest single-phase resort development in the history of the Caribbean.

After boarding Disney Dream, the group headed for Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island and prepared for an evening Pirate’s of the Caribbean-themed costume contest.

Throughout the remainder of the weekend and the conclusion of the 2012 CruiseOne® & Cruises Inc. ® National Conference, attendees will participate in additional networking opportunities and a variety of fundraising activities – including the Castaway Cay 5k and a sand castle building contest – benefitting the companies’ charitable partner, the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Announced to attendees earlier this week, the 2013 CruiseOne National Conference will take place aboard Norwegian Breakaway during its much-anticipated inaugural season.
