Brad Tolkin / Jeff Tolkin, Co-CEO’s
Brad Tolkin is President of CruiseOne and Co-Chairman/Co-CEO of World Travel Holdings. Jeff Tolkin is Co-Chairman/Co-CEO of World Travel Holdings.
Each has more than 25 years of experience as an operating executive in the travel industry. Prior to co-founding World Travel Holdings in 2005, the Tolkins owned and operated Travel Impressions, one of the country's most successful privately held travel wholesalers. Under the Tolkins' leadership, Travel Impressions was profitable for 22 consecutive years and successfully maintained prestigious industry brands such as Pan American Holidays, Eastern Vacations, Continental Airlines Vacations and Virgin Atlantic Vacations. In 1992, the Tolkins acquired Empress Travel, a retail travel agency with 40 stores. They singlehandedly expanded it to include over 100 locations.
Travel Impressions and Empress Travel were both sold to American Express in 1998. During the Tolkins' tenure at American Express, they successfully transitioned both operations to wholly owned subsidiaries of American Express.
Brad Tolkin holds a B.S. from Cornell University and Jeff Tolkin holds a B.A. from Columbia College and a JD from Columbia Law School.
Joelle Delva, Vice President, Operations
Joelle Delva serves as the Vice President of Operations and has worked in the cruise vacation industry for more than 23 years. Throughout her career in travel, Delva has held various positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of payroll, finance, telecommunication, information technology and general operations within myriads of agencies such as The Cruise Line, Inc, Travel Services International, MyTravel-Shared Services and CruiseOne. Her experience includes the day-to-day operation of the employees that make our customers' needs a reality. She develops policies and procedures towards fiscal responsibility all while delivering quality products and services.
Sandi Szalay, Vice President,, Information Technology
Sandi Szalay serves as CruiseOne's Vice President of Technology. Over the past decade, she has led the company's technological evolution to extraordinary heights. Szalay won the first ever CIO (Cheif Information Officer) award from the South Florida Business Journal, and was recognized as a Corporate I.T. leader by Women in eCommerce. Under Szalay's leadership, CruiseOne has quickly moved to the forefront of the industry with its proprietary software development and unrivaled technical support. This includes the launch of Cruise Control, the company's web-based cruise selling application. This innovative system was the first to offer online pricing and booking with major cruise line partners. Previously, Szalay held various senior leadership positions with Interzine Productions; a leader in interactive leisure sports websites.
Drew Daly, Vice President, Sales Performance
Drew Daly is a long-time member of the World Travel Holdings family. He joined the company as a travel agent and quickly moved up the ranks into sales management. He currently serves as the Vice President of Sales Performance. In early positions with WTH, Drew managed the Virginia Beach Call Center and worked as the Manager of Retail Sales, where he oversaw the operations of 26 retail locations. In 2002, Daly began creating what is now the nation's most impressive, comprehensive virtual sales network. Simultaneously over the past eight years, he has worked alongside WTH's leaders in turning travel industry trends into sales opportunities. In this position, Daly oversees the CruiseOne Franchisee Training and Sales Support Teams. He is responsible for managing the company's franchise owner training programs and overseeing continuing education programs, including the Regional Training Program, Seminars@Sea and the annual National Conference. Daly is also responsible for creating new programs to maximize Business Development efficiencies and crafting internal campaigns that will help surpass the company's revenue goals. Daly works closely with the company's franchise owner and travel partners. He also collaborates frequently with various internal groups, including the Marketing and Communications Team, to orchestrate effective cross-promotional programs that ensure agents' success.
Luis Zuniga, Vice President, Marketing and Communications
Luis Zuniga has served as CruiseOne’s Vice President of Marketing and Communications since 2010. Prior to joining CruiseOne, Luis led various marketing initiatives in both the North America and Latin America divisions for Burger King Corporation. Prior to Burger King, Luis held various marketing and finance positions at financial service companies such as Prudential and Northern Trust. Luis was also a franchisee of a Mobile Pet Grooming business in South Florida before successfully selling the business in 2008. Luis earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia.
Tim Courtney, CFE, Vice President, Franchise Development
Tim Courtney serves as the Vice President of Franchise Development. He is a member of the International Franchise Association's Membership Committe, as well as Franchise Congress. Courtney has worked in the industry for more than 10 years beginning his career with CruisesOnly as an Executive Cruise Consultant. Courtney has held various positions within the travel industry including training and management. Courtney held the position of General Manager at CruisesOnly from 1999 to 2001. Courtney later joined MyTravel Corporate Training Team as a Manager of Corporate Training delivering training to all of its sales centers nationwide. In 2006, Courtney joined CruiseOne in a Training and Education role and helped launch the company's online learning academy. He later joined the Franchise Development Team in 2008 where he quickly immersed himself into the company’s recruitment efforts which led to record results. Tim is a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) through the International Franchise Association and speaks at various Franchise and Travel Trade events.
Janet Harris, CFE, Senior Franchise Development Specialist
Janet King Harris serves on the Franchise Development team and has had an extensive career in the travel industry. She began her career in corporate travel sales in 1985 followed by positions in government travel, hotel sales management and as a top producing member of the Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associate / franchise sales team in the 1990's. She later became an entrepreneur owning her own businesses in Indianapolis. Harris has served as Sales Director for World Travel Partners (now BCD Travel) U.S. Affiliates Programs working with travel agency owners with sales up to 150 million dollars annually. In recent years, Harris launched, grew and sold several of her own businesses in the service industry.
Wendy Denny, Franchise Development Specialist
Wendy Denny serves on the Franchise Development team for CruiseOne and has had an extensive career as an established travel industry leader for 11 years. Denny has an accomplished career in travel sales, recruitment and management with a proven track record. She began her career as a successful home-based independent cruise agent for a World Travel Holdings sister company. She continued to hold a Cruise Sales Manager position while operating a retail cruise outlet. In addition, Denny successfully recruited, trained and mentored home-based agents. Denny is a professional member of Cruise Line International Association (CLIA), National Association of Cruise Travel Agents (NACTA) and Business and Professional Women (BPW) Foundation and other professional business organizations.
Mark Bryant, Franchise Development Specialist
With an extensive career as an established travel industry leader with 20 years experience, Mark Bryant serves on the Franchise Development team for CruiseOne. Bryant has distinguished himself in the travel franchise, food franchise and fitness franchise industries as a top producing sales member. He held the District Sales Manager position for tour operators and Regional Director of Sales for Premier Cruise Lines with a proven track record, nationwide. Bryant served as the principal start up sales team for Travelocity Business and has held various cruise line management positions for over 10 years.
Lynda Webster, Franchise Development Specialist
Lynda Webster is a Certified Travel Counselor who has had an extensive career as an established travel industry leader for 30 years. She began her career in travel as a successful travel agent in Illinois. She later held various positions in the Airline and Cruise Line industries including Sales Manager, Manager of Travel Agency Sales and National Accounts Manager for Cruise Lines. Webster is an accomplished consultant to various travel organizations with a proven track record. She held Director of National Account Sales for 10 years with Carnival Cruise Lines and is a distinguished motivational speaker and presenter at numerous Seminars at Sea and cruise conferences.
Mary Antoine, Franchise Development Specialist
Mary Antoine serves on the Franchise Development team for CruiseOne and has had an extensive career as an established travel industry leader for 25 years. She began her career in travel with major tour operators in Boston, MA. With senior travel market and corporate travel sales experience, Antoine propelled to becoming the top producing Sales Associate with National Leisure Group specializing in cruise sales. She also owned a successful CruiseOne Franchise in the Boston area. She later established herself as the Director of Marketing for World Travel Holdings supporting CruiseOne Franchise Owners and Cruises Inc. Independent Agents for more than 15 years. With that, Antoine consulted and supported over 1000 Franchisees and Independent Agents with their individual marketing plans, business building initiatives and selling techniques.
